The Avaada solar panels hoarding at Palarivattom, Kochi

Prepared by CashUrDrive for Avaada. Kerala outdoor campaign, October 2026.

12 hoardings reached about 6.6 lakh people

Over the 30-day booking in Kochi and Trivandrum. Palarivattom and Paravoor Kavala reached the most people, thanks to heavy highway traffic and a clear view.

These are estimates, not measured counts, because no board has an official traffic count. Each figure could be about 30% higher or lower. The campaign total is likely between 4.2 and 8.0 lakh people.

11.2 lakhpeople pass the boards each day, counted once at each board
1.2 croreviews over the 30 days
18.0%of adults in Ernakulam district reached: 4.8 lakh people, 8 boards
6.7%of adults in Thiruvananthapuram district reached: 1.8 lakh people, 4 boards

Footfall and reach by site

Footfall is the number of people who pass a board each day. Views are how many of them are likely to look at it. Reach counts different people who see it at least once in the 30 days, so someone who sees it ten times counts once.

Solid bar: estimated reach. Thin line: the likely range. Adding up the sites counts people who pass more than one board again, so the total further down is lower.

How many passers-by look at each board

Out of every 100 people who pass, how many are likely to see the board. Bigger boards, lit boards, junctions where traffic slows and a clear view all raise this number.

Where the boards are

True positions in each city, with north at the top. A bigger dot means more people reached. Roads are not drawn.

Why the total is lower than the sites added together

Someone driving NH 544 to the airport passes several boards, and should count once. So people shared between nearby boards are removed, area by area and then across each city.

How the estimates were made

Traffic

Each road was sized from its type and how busy its surroundings are on Google Maps, then checked against published traffic reports for Kochi and passenger figures for Cochin airport and Thiruvananthapuram Central station.

Footfall

Vehicles a day going past the board, multiplied by the people in each vehicle. At Thampanoor, people walking to and from the station are added.

Views

The share of passers-by likely to look. It depends on the board's size and lighting, how fast traffic moves, and how clear the view is in the site photos.

Reach

Views divided by how often a regular road user sees the board. Travellers on Airport Road pass less often than daily commuters, so more of its viewers are new.
